In the morning departure from Frankfurt to Wiesbaden, the elegant Hessian capital and health resort with its 26 hot springs.
Pompous villas and townhouses, many historic buildings, wide avenues and the magnificent complex of the spa house and casino shape the cityscape. After the tour
it goes with the historic mountain railway on the Neroberg, a very enjoyable experience. Once at the top there is a nice panoramic view over the city. You have time to visit the Russian church or have a lunch snack.
Over the Rhine then goes to Mainz, an old city with an impressive history. 2000 years back to the Romans and today provincial capital of Rhineland-Palatinate. The fantastic baroque buildings bear witness to the time of the electors. Walking through the old city center with its huge squares and narrow streets, half-timbered houses and baroque churches, we pass the famous Gutenberg Museum before our tour guide will show us the St. Stephen's Church with its fantastic blue glass windows by Marc Chagall.
After the cathedral (St. Martin) to Mainz we return to Frankfurt against 17: 00h.
